The 32-acre walled campus comprises of :

 The Academic Block with its huge front lawns
  The Halls of Residence consisting of the Dormitory Blocks
  Outdoor sports areas
  Bon Appétit - the Central Dining Hall
  The Staff Quarters
  Encore - the Amphitheatre

 


The three-tier Academic Block of 60,000 square feet has 48 spacious classrooms, each of 650 square feet on every floor. Facing it is a huge four-acre lawn used extensively by the community for outdoor learning as well as various games, sports and activities.


Each of the two 23,000 square feet Halls of Residence comprise of activity/utility rooms on the ground floors and on the upper floors. The washrooms attached with the dormitories are planned with the ratio of 1:8 students. All the dormitories are very well ventilated and completely meshed for insect proofing.

The following dormitories accommodate the appropriate grades.

Base Camp First floor of Residential Block 3 - Sub-junior boys
Mid Way First floor of Residential Block 2 - Junior boys
Summit Second floor of Residential Block 2 - Senior boys
Princess Court Second floor of Residential Block 3 - Sub-junior, Junior and Senior girls


Parkwood is committed to the development of a healthy individual and the school’s splendid environs support this need. Nearly 12 acres of the school area is devoted to sports.

The sports area comprises of :


 Five smooth concrete basketball courts
A full size football field
A cricket field
Seven tennis courts
 A 25m x 12.5m swimming pool
 Smooth concrete roads for skating and cycling


The large and spacious 16,000 square feet Central Dining Hall, Bon Appétit, is designed to dine 450 people at a time. The adjoining see-through kitchen is another 4000 square feet.



As most of the staff are residential, they are accommodated in quarters that are located on the western end of the campus.


Encore, the Amphitheatre, is designed to accommodate 800 people for dramatics, stage shows and outdoor movies.

The school has its own borewells to supply the 200,000 litres of daily water needed.
There are underground storage tanks that hold 600,000 litres of water at all times.
All the civil construction on the campus is constructed to the IS specifications including conforming tothe Fire Safety and Quake Resistant norms.
The complete 32 acres of campus is fully rain harvested with all the rainwater collecting in the huge five million litre rain-harvesting pit.
The sewage treatment plant processes and recycles about 1.5 lakh litres of water daily for use in the drip irrigation system.
The complete campus has been networked with underground storm water pipelines to drain out the campus in no time even after the heaviest rainfalls!
