Admission Announcement For Academic Year 2011-2012

The Governing Council of Parkwood School International announces the opening of admissions for the Academic Year 2011-12 for Grades 3 to 9 under the CBSE and the University of Cambridge’s programs. The school does not grant admissions in Grades 10.

Parkwood is a modern, fully residential school for boys and girls. The campus is located about 60 km from Hyderabad in a serene, beautiful and pollution-free environment. The school offers the CBSE and the University of Cambridge’s programs while placing significant emphasis on activities and sports.

Admission Process

Admissions for Grades 3 to 6 to are based upon the satisfactory performance of a simple Assessment Test. This 90-minute test does not require any prior preparation by the child. Admissions to Grades 7, 8 and 9 are based upon the successful performance in the Entrance Test at respective levels in English, Math, Science and General Knowledge. The total duration of this test is 2 hours. Prior preparation is advised.

All tests are normally conducted at the School Campus. However, students living abroad (available in select cities only) may contact the school to check the possibility of remote testing at an additional charge.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

As part of the school’s vision and philosophy, the school extends scholarships and need-based financial aid each year to Indian resident parents whose children are meritorious in academics, activities or sports. Aid is awarded at levels of 25% and 50% of the annual fee.

Application for Admission

The Prospectus and the Application Form can be requested from the school’s City Office upon payment of Rs. 500 per set (US$ 50 for foreign countries). Please refer to the Document on Admission Procedures 2011-12.

Admissions are granted subject to availability of seats on a first-come-first-served basis and solely at the discretion of the school authorities. Mere submission of the application form should not be construed as granting/acceptance of admission.
