Messaging of Marks to Parents

The school has commenced a system of sending the CAP and examination marks secured by your ward via SMS.

Please note the main features of this messaging system:

1. The messages are sent to the mobile numbers of the father and mother only.
2. Please notify the school of a change in parent contact details by filling in Form CPCD available under Circular #123 on our website www.parkwoodschool.com
3. Messages are sent using the services of a web-based portal. As this system accepts only one mobile number for each parent, it is not possible for the school to send messages to additional phone numbers.

The following abbreviations are used to denote the subjects in which tests have been conducted.

ACC Accounting A&D Art & Design
BST Business Studies BIO Biology
CHEM Chemistry COMP Computer
ENG English H&G History & Geography
ICT Information & Communications Technology LT Logical Thinking
MATH Mathematics PHY Physics
2L Second Language SST Social Studies

As a rule, the maximum marks are:

  • 50 marks for CAP Tests
  • 100 marks for examinations
6. Please call the school if you do not receive the marks by Thursday evening.
7. You will receive the message only if your Mobile Phone is in “ON” mode. If your phone is switched off, you may NOT receive the message when the phone is switched on later.
