Penalty Charges for Absence of Leave

1. Your attention is brought to the Clause 7.14 of the PSI Handbook 2009-10, with specific reference to Chapter 7, namely, Absence from School.

Clause 7.14 reads as follows:
“Additional grant of Optional Leaves or unauthorised absence will be subject to a penalty of Rs. 2000 per calendar day.”

Henceforth, there is a revision of the charges applied to leave of absence.

Detail
Grades 3 to 8
Grades 9 to 12
With Advance Permission
(In excess of the 2 Optional Days per term)
Charge of Rs. 500 per day Charge of Rs. 1000 per day
1st Violation
(Absence without permission)
Penalty of Rs. 750 per day Penalty of Rs. 1500 per day
All Subsequent Violations
(Absence without permission)
 Penalty of Rs. 1000 per day Penalty of Rs. 2000 per day












The above revision will be applicable from 15-Jan-2010.
3. All charges/penalties collected will be utilized for purchase of additional books for the library.
4. The other clauses / guidelines pertaining to Chapter 7 remain unchanged.
