Session on CBSE Reforms &
Global Opportunities with University of Cambridge Curricula

The recent months have seen a series of reforms initiated by the CBSE with an aim to revamp the system of evaluation and assessment. This has generated a lot of discussion among teachers, parents and students as well as thrown open certain fundamental issues for debate.

Alongside these developments is the growing recognition of the internationally designed University of Cambridge courses among Indian schools and universities as a creditable alternative to the existing Indian boards.

Parkwood School International is organizing a forum for parents of the school entitled ‘CBSE Reforms & Global Opportunities with CIE’. Some of the aspects of the programme include:

* CBSE reforms and its implications
* Recognition of University of Cambridge’s IGCSE and A-Level Qualifications
* Higher Education opportunities in the UK

Mr. Ian Chambers, CIE Regional Manager of South Asia, will be the Keynote Speaker to talk about the CIE qualifications at the school level and its recognition / progression into the Indian/Foreign colleges.

Mr. Prabhakar Reddy of the British Council will be the Guest Speaker and will deliver an address on Higher Education opportunities in the UK.
