Circular No. 56 | Date: 22-July-2006

PARENT/GUARDIAN VISITS TO THE SCHOOL CAMPUS

The school permits parents and guardians to visit their wards at the school campus on any Saturday or Sunday between 4:00 and 6:00pm. However, it has been observed of late that some of the parents/visitors have been violating the rules/guidelines that are to be followed by them.

I hereby reiterate the essential points to be followed during their visits.

The school recommends that parents visit the campus once a month. This will give the child the opportunity to experience the essence of ‘boarding life’ in its truest sense. It will also enable you to witness the growth and development of the child over a sufficient period of time.
Pets are not permitted on the School Campus.
Parents and Guardians are reminded that any form of eatables, soft drinks, juices or any other prohibited items should not be brought with them. Encouraging the child to sit in the vehicle and partake of food brought from home will only serve to counter the discipline and rules of the school.
Parents and Guardians are requested to take formal appointments from the school if they wish to discuss the academic progress/general well-being of their ward.
Parents, Guardians and Visitors are not permitted to enter the dormitories, classrooms and the Dining Hall.
Please do not give your mobile phones to students other than your own wards.
Kindly do not object/question to the measures that the school security staff request for or enforce. This is done under the instructions of the school authorities in the interest of the children’s well-being and safety.
Parents and Guardians must always carry their Identity cards issued by the school or will be denied permission to enter by the security.
Optional Exits can be availed of only with prior intimation and approval in writing.
It is mandatory for parents and guardians to abide by the departure time of 6:00pm.

The school reserves a right to decline the entry into the campus in future if it is found that the violations of any of the above points are detrimental to the students (including their own wards) or teachers.

I look forward to the support and cooperation of all parents and guardians in the implementation of this circular in its true spirit.
